Sharing a document straight from Google Drive is a great way to make sure your content is always updated because it reflects any changes made to the original file.
All you need to do is add the link to Skore by clicking the "+" icon and choosing the link option.
There are two ways to display your shared document on Skore:
Iframe: This mode simply inserts the Google document as it is to the Skore page you're on. For this reason, the document is only visible to people logged into Google Drive with the required viewing permissions. In this mode the file is editable and all comments and collaboration functionalities are available.
Embed: This mode uses Google Drive's native embed functionality and this will only work with published documents.
By default, all Google Drive documents are displayed on the Iframe mode. Switching between modes is super simple:
- After adding the link to Skore, click Go to Content
- Open the "..." menu on the right
- Select Switch to embed or Switch to iframe
