How do Skore's notification e-mails work?

There are some situations in which Skore will send a notification e-mail to users. Do you want to know what those situations are? Check over here!

Invitation e-mail

The first case in which Skore will notify a user is when they are invited to Skore. The user will receive, in the language chosen by the administrator when sending the invitation, an e-mail similar to the following:

When clicking on the Join now button, the user will be directed to a form, where they will enter their name and password, completing their registration in Skore.

This e-mail has a standard text in each language and cannot be modified. However, in Settings > Notifications, it is possible to customize the header image of the e-mail, as well as the logo image.

These images are shown in the following image. Choose the desired image in Choose file... and send a test e-mail to yourself by clicking Send me a test email to see how it looks. If you are satisfied with the result, just click Update to save your changes.

Password recovery e-mail

Another situation in which Skore will notify a user is when the user requests the recovery of their password. After doing this, the user will receive an e-mail just like this, in their preferred language:

By clicking on Recover your password, the user will be directed to the form where they can reset their password.

Mention notification e-mail

When a user is mentioned by another user in a comment, they will immediately receive an e-mail notifying that mention. This e-mail follows the user's preferred language.

By clicking on See comments, the user will be directed to the content in question.

The three notification e-mails above are sent immediately and any user is likely to receive them. Next, we’ll cover notifications that only users with an administrator role receive.

CSV results e-mail

When an administrator uploads a CSV file to invite, update or create users in bulk, they will receive an e-mail with the results of the file's processing.

This email is sent if all lines have been successfully processed, detailing how many users have been created, updated or invited, but also if any lines have been processed with errors. In this case, the error lines are sent separately in a CSV file attached to that same e-mail.

Duplicated space e-mail

When an administrator duplicates a space, they should receive an e-mail that communicating the success of that duplication. The e-mail looks like the following and will contain: the name of the space that was duplicated, as well as the link to the new space.

We talked about every notification e-mail that is received immediately by users. Let's now talk about the e-mails that can be received on a daily or weekly basis.

Missed notifications e-mail

The missed notifications e-mail is sent daily (if there are any unread notifications) with information about notifications that have accumulated throughout the day. These notifications can be:

  • Mentions;
  • Users that have completed an activity for which you are the chosen evaluator or which you have added yourself;
  • Users that have upvoted a content which you have added.

Newsletter e-mail

If you as an administrator wish to do so, you may enable all company users to receive a weekly newsletter e-mail, which is sent every Thursday. To do this, just go to Settings > Notifications and enable the newsletter in Enable weekly emails. You can choose an image for the header of that e-mail, as well as the Subject, Title and the message in the body of the e-mail. You can send a test e-mail to yourself and, if you are satisfied, save your changes at the bottom of the page.

This e-mail will always be sent in the default language of the workspace to all users and contains a list of the most recent contents that have been added to the platform.
