How can I create groups, spaces, sections and contents?

Updated 11 months ago by Luiza Aduan

Skore works with the concept of groups, spaces, sections and contents! Here you will learn everything about them.

While the halls of a library can be compared to Skore groups, the spaces can be associated with the bookshelves, the sections can be compared to one shelf and, finally, the added contents would be the books.

Creating a group

Groups are collections of combined spaces. Follow the steps below to create a group:

  1. Click on the "+" icon next to Spaces;
  2. Click on new group;
  3. Choose a cool name for your new group;
  4. Hit the Enter key to save.

To delete a group, simply click on the group name and then on the trash icon next to it. To move a group, just left-click and drag up or down.

Creating a space

  1. Click on the "+" icon next to Spaces;
  2. Click on new space;
  3. Choose a cool name for the new space and hit the Enter key;
  4. Add a description (optional) for the space and hit the Enter key.

The new space will be shown on the sidebar.

To reorder, just drag it and drop on the wished position.

By dragging and dropping, you can reorder spaces between groups or the groups on the sidebar.

Deleting a space

To delete a space:

  1. Go to the space that you wish to delete;
  2. Click on Options;
  3. Click on delete space;
  4. Among the options, it is also possible to archive a space and duplicate a space. When you duplicate, all the contents and sections that exist are replicated in another space.

Creating a section

  1. Inside the space, click on Options;
  2. Click on new section;
  3. Add the name of your new section and a description, if you'd like one;
  4. Click Save

Reordering sections or deleting sections

If you already have more than one section and want to reorder them:

  1. Inside a space, click on Options;
  2. Select reorder sections;
  3. On the right side, you can delete a section;
  4. On the left side it's possible to drag the sections up and down to reorder them.

Moving sections to different spaces

When it comes to content management, change is very common.

If you have already built a section and realized it was on the wrong space, simply move it to another one!

  1. Inside the space, change the visualization to Guide;
  2. Select the section you want to move to another space;
  3. Click options > edit section;
  4. On the edition area, you can chance the section's name, include a front image and move it to another space;
  5. Save the wished option and check if it was updated.

Including content

Inside Skore, you can include many types of content (check everything about content here)! We will talk about this subject thoroughly in other articles, but here go the basics of how you can include content within Skore:

  1. Click on the '+' icon in the upper right corner;
  2. Choose the type of content you want to include;
  3. Include the desired content;
  4. Change the title and description of your content;
  5. If you wish, select the 3 dots on the left side of the content image and change it to a custom cover. The recommended size is 320 x 120px;
  6. Choose a space and section to place your content;
  7. Done! ;) Search for your content in the space and section you have placed it.

Reordering content

There are two ways to move content within Skore:

  1. Moving content within its own space, changing it only from one section to another;
  2. Moving content between spaces.
Moving content within its own space by changing only the section:
  1. Hold the content header with your mouse;
  2. Drag it to move.

Moving content between spaces:

  1. Search for the content you want to edit;
  2. Select the 3 dots on the content card - Here you can edit the content, replace it or delete it;
  3. In the edit content option you can: change the title, the description, add essay questions or multiple choice questions to the content;
  4. Change the content of space or section.
